mEMBERSHIP lEVELS
Regular
Regular members shall include organizations that are in the business of providing lodging on a short-term, non-contractual basis. Regular members may include several representatives from their organization but will be limited to one (1) vote per dues paying organization. These members will be entitled to all privileges of membership.
Affiliate
Affiliate members shall include organizations that have similar goals of a vested interest in the tourism industry but are not in the business of providing lodging including but not limited to entertainment, venues, eateries, attractions, retail establishments, and/or association of such. No representative of these shall be entitled to the privilege of making motions, of voting and/or of holding office.
Honorary
Honorary members shall include organizations that help support the goals of SHLA including but not limited to the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau, Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association. No representatives of these organization shall be entitled to the privilege of making motions, of voting and/or of holding office (unless contracted).
